SOUTH LONDON LEAGUE | 8 A SIDE FOOTBALL LEAGUE

When we talk about the South London League, we're talking about organisation, consistency, community and of course no moments missed! The league is very challenging with the set up making teams fight to best, equal opportunities for every team to end with silverware. I've never had a dull moment on a Wednesday. The staff are also very friendly and welcoming, they deal with matters very efficiently and keep us updated with any changes very promptly. It feels like we're playing in the premier league with all the coverage and behind the scene work. I'd definitely recommend teams to join the South London league to play competitive football and get a feel of what it takes to grow as a team.As well as saying this it's also very fun and rewarding as there are incentives to be won if you win the league and cup games.Even if you're looking to play extra football, it's a good place to test your ability and to watch yourself back with their highlights. An immaculate set up over at the South London League!

I come from a very competitive background, always striving to be better. The SLL has managed to facilitate that while also incorporating a strong family feeling, bringing together a variety of cultures. The SLL has blended street football with professionalism, allowing young players to express themselves and older players to remind people that they haven’t lost it. Long may it continue.

The SLL has been an incredible league ever since i’ve joined, the standard of football has improved each season without fail! Started off as a player & evolved into a manager as this league isn’t about just turning up and playing. It’s deeper than that!

We were part of the SSL for 4 seasons, and I can honestly say it's the best league we've been a part of, from the organisation to the high quality competitiveness of the league, you wont find a better standard anywhere else. Adam, Temi and the rest of team are doing an amazing job and from how much ive seen it grow in my time there it's obvious it will only going to keep getting better. We have some unfinished business after the disappointment of our last season, and we will be back to finish our story! If you want to test yourself against the very best, then there's only one place to be thats the SLL!

The South London League, built on a kick about between friends, has developed in a football cornerstone within South London. As someone who was part of that initial kick about, and still plays in the league to this day, it has been a great growth journey to be part of. The league sets the standard when it comes to content and community; with the latter now branching out beyond the realms of South London. As someone who grew up in Streatham, seeing the commerardary between such a diverse group of people, every Wednesday night, is what football is all about. The quality of the football itself has grown in tandem with the league, resulting in high-level competition without losing the rawness of ‘cage football’. I’ve definitely felt the benefits in my own game, of coming up against high step Semi-Professional and Ex-Pro footballers… you have to be sharp!

The SLL is a highly competitive 8aside league, we have been apart of this for the last 8 seasons, each season the competition and structure of the league gets better and better, the southlondon league is home to our club luggs and is the best 8aside league in London without a doubt

What the boys have built with the SLL is seriously impressive. What started as a simple idea between school friends has turned into a well-run, competitive league that everyone genuinely looks forward to each week. The organisation, consistency and effort behind it really shows — games run smoothly and the standard keeps improving, with some serious talent on show. It’s clear how much time and passion has gone into making it work, and that’s why it’s been such a success already. With the momentum it’s got now, this league is only going one way, and I’ve got no doubt it’ll keep growing and becoming even bigger and better in the seasons ahead.
